I did this race for the first time last year and I will most definitely be doing it again. The course is flat and fast, a down and back run with fantastic scenery.....Lake Michigan. The corrals were well organized and we hardly had to stand around waiting before crossing the start line. Aid stations were well laid out and easy to get through.

The expo was easy in and out which is something this girl LOVES! I detest having to wade through waves of people just to pick up a packet and a shirt. I know others have commented that the shirt this year was not that great, however I thought it was cute. Important to note that this was my first year doing the race so I didnt have previous race shirts to compare it to.

Shout out to the race organizers who do an EXCELLENT job of keeping people moving past the finish line so runners trying to finish hard don't cross the line into a crowd of people standing around.

Medals are nice, although I don't like someone placing it on my neck. I think that should be reserved for Olympic medal winners :)
