A superb race. Great management. Enjoyed the expo and route. Took some time on the beach after the race and got some local food. What a great race. So well organized that it seems like everything has been planned for. Take the shuttle bus to the expo and also to the race start. You'll have plenty of time to wait around for your start. Enjoy the crowds along the way and seeing the different parts of the city. There is a tunnel immediately after the start that will probably cause your garmin to go haywire for the entire race. My miles did come out long so I'd remember to run the short curves on the turns. Take time to see the sights of the city and I recommend a morning after run along Lake Michigan at sunrise.

Stumbled across this race when the Vancouver USA marathon was cancelled. So glad I found it. This is a simple unpretentious race that is super well organized, supported and well deserving of your consideration. It is entirely on greenway and residential surface streets. Not much elevation change and great for pushing the pace for a PR. The route is a modified "Y" with a box out on the long part of the Y. You run each leg of the upper Y twice. Course officials were very organized and there was never any confusion. Super friendly staff and accommodating. The race raises money for the local HS XC team. Do this race

A great way to see Quebec and the surrounding area. The marathon runs from across the St Lawrence River in Levi, Canada down to the bridges and across to Quebec side. The entire race is directly beside or close to the river. Finish and enjoy fantastic meals and scenery in Quebec. The course is mostly flat although the bridge crossing causes some elevation change. Remember this area is French speaking so have fun!

This was an incredible review from the top of the valley down to the town of Imst. The scenery is incredible and down hill most of the way. Not the largest race but enough people to run with. If you go then make sure you plan extra days to tour the area. There is a glacier nearby the start and Imst (along with all the other towns) is a great place to visit. If you can only do one race....this is it!
