It's Chicago...your expectations shouldn't be too high. Lake Front Path was a mess. Pot Holes, cracks, uneven pavement throughout the course. Running on LSD WHILE IT WAS OPEN. Only one lane southbound shut-down. CRAZY. We were running against oncoming traffic at 60 MPH. An older lady was DOWN on the side of the path. Prone. Many runners stopped to help. No First Aid in sight. Another little old lady WAS the first aid..and she was hobbling along the uneven pavement/broken path to get to the down runner. Two dudes walking along like they had all day with a stretcher. It was nuts...Only +...You get to see your big mug on the Jumbo Tron as you run into Soldier Field. Whatever...
