Great place to run your first half marathon! First of all, Hilton Head is beautiful! The course itself was mostly flat. The scenery was pretty; when you were crossing the bridge, you got a view of the water. There were water stations about every two miles and some had Gatorade. There were a couple people cheering you on in some areas so that was encouraging! The celebration after the race consisted of live music, pizza, snacks and beer! We did not receive any swag as shipping was delayed but hopefully should arrive in the mail soon! Overall, pretty good place to have your first half marathon!

What a FUN race! Although it was virtually, I made the most out of it. The day of the run was perfect, not too hot or cold so that helped out. This was the longest distance I have ever done so I was super happy when I finished. To top it all off, the swag is amazing! I love the metal you get with chocolate inside, the awesome jacket and other goodies. I would highly recommend this sweet race to anyone! Can’t wait for next year!!!

Such a fun race to run in the Charlotte area. This was my first race in Charlotte and would do it again!! The race was managed so well and communication was clear. Parking was easy and finding where to go was easy. The race was hilly at times but doable. I loved all the chocolate goodies we got at the end, it was amazing!!

The Krispy Kreme Challenge was such an enjoyable race! It's definitely a challenge to run 2.5 miles, try to eat a dozen donuts and then run 2.5 miles back. Props to people that can actually eat all 12 donuts, that's tough! (I ate like 2 haha). The race itself was a good run with views of the NC State Campus. The race is held in February which was freezing that morning. People wear costumes, which is one of the exciting things about this race. Seeing people get creative and lots of families and groups dressing up in a group costume was so fun to see!

Ran this race for the first time in 2017! Great race in a great city, I would highly recommend. I did this race with my boyfriend (now husband) and sister in 2017. We decided to stay there for the weekend to make the most out of it! Communication before the race was clear and the race was very well organized upon arrival. There were a lot of people running this race so be prepared to run with a crowd. There are also many people walking this race. It's a fun race to do with friends and/or family and great city to spend the weekend in!
