So much fun!!! Spokane is absolutely beautiful, but don't overlook DOOMSDAY HILL! Aid stations and expo were great fun, and there was no shortage of crowd support! No medal, and the after party could have had more booths, but the shirt was perfection and I had a great time regardless. There is a virtual option and even a pet race called Bloomsdog, how cute is that?!

I recently had surgery that sidelined me from running for a long time. This virtual race was perfect for my "comeback". There are several levels, starting at 3 miles and then climbs to longer lengths. I used this race to walk/run, and then eventually was able to run/walk all the way to the BONUS level! I haven't received my swag yet but it looks adorable online. I did get cute virtual medals for each level I passed.

The race was a lot of fun with a ton of music and plenty of aid stations (which was appreciated on such a hot day) but the scenery was very blah. I ran through downtown, which wasn’t exactly pretty, and through some neighborhoods. I would have liked to see more than just buildings and houses. The expo was easy to get to with plenty of hours. The after party was fine, if not a bit crowded. The bag drop off was impossible to find pre-race, and ended up not being properly relocated post-race so, again, difficult to find.

This race was so much fun! I have done the half marathon before but signed up for the 10k with a friend this year. The route was slightly different than the half, which was appreciated so there wasn’t too much crowding. Plenty of aid stations and cheer groups. The scenery was very beautiful, parking was super easy and plentiful, and the after party was a lot of fun to hang out in! If you can handle the elevation, I highly recommend this run.

I signed up for a downhill race, and paid for a bus to the start line. The route was changed due to insurance reasons and the bus was cancelled. My bus reservation money was never reimbursed. The course was now half downhill, then half uphill, and EXTREMELY difficult, and I live in the mountains and run uphill. I’ve never walked so much in a race before. A lot of people at the finish line were complaining as well. The “expo” wasn’t very well organized, with no rules for where to line up established, so people were just standing everywhere. Scenery was at least very pretty.
