I actually really liked this race. It is all downhill from Santa Fe down to midway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. I thought the scenery was beautiful- really pretty rolling desert along the side roads of the high way. It is really cool how they have African drums and local artists playing along the course. The only bummer was having to take a shuttle to the course start at like 5am and it was freezing. Nice tech shirt and finisher medal.

"Boring, flat, cold half marathon with decent planning"

This is another Albuquerque race that stays out and in on the Bosque trail, which, in my opinion, is extremely boring. The race course is a drag, being totally flat and devoid of fun scenery. The weather is always terrible for this race. It is pretty expensive and they gave us a normal white t shirt, which I thought was cheap and crappy considering that tech shirts are pretty affordable these days. It's a fine race for a first half, but certainly not anything super fun.

This was a great event if it was someone's first 5k. It was a fun, easy course through the Denver parks. It was pretty and well-supported. There were people of all skill levels and it was clear that everyone was welcome and everyone was having fun. The event afterward was also really well-organized. Parking was a little treacherous.
