If you are looking for a fairly flat race in Kansas City this is the race. Great crowd support, bands on the course, some of the residents in the neighborhood have unofficial aid stations. The medal is huge for the half marathon. Post race there is great food and entertainment. There is a 5k option if you are looking for a shorter distance. I have ran the half the past two years and will be running it again in 2020.
