This is one of my favorite 10k's to run. I love running through the countries before the sun comes up. The countries are beautiful all lit up and there are so many characters out. Even before you get into the park, there are men on stilts that are always entertaining. The cast members are cheering you on as you enter the World Showcase and then you make the turn into the countries! It gives you such a boost of energy! You make your way to the Boardwalk and around past the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and have some folks staying at the resort cheering you on. It's funny how perfect strangers can bring you such joy and encouragement! Then it's back behind the countries and back into Epcot on your way to the finish line. But first you pass Spaceship Earth! Amazing! As you round the last corner towards the shoot to the finish line, you have cast members cheering and a marching band or a choir (my brain mixes up the half and the 10k) playing you home. I'm not the quickest so there's already beautiful confetti on the ground as I make my way to the finish line and get my photo and my medal. I would highly recommend this race.

My FIRST Princess Half marathon! Oh my goodness! Magical and hooked! There's nothing like running through the Magic Kingdom! The spectators cheering! It's indescribable! My other favorite thing was the drummers at the Ticket and Transportation Center. They're amazing! The Army Men from Toy Story. Oh, the list goes on and on! When I finished, I was ready to sign up for next year!

This year's 5k was Frozen themed and for good reason. A cold front came in and it was truly frozen for central Florida! Let it Go from Frozen played throughout the World Showcase as we, quite bundled up, walked around in our blankets and pretty much everything we owned! We had a great time as usual but boy, it was cold!
