This is an expensive event and it is the 3rd time that I’ve done this race. In addition, you are TEQUIRED to purchase a minimum of a one day USAT membership for an additional fee.
My brother younger is traveling across the country by air to do this event with me.

We enjoy doing things together but the race management makes it extremely difficult for participants from outside of the area.
Packet pickup is limited to Friday and Saturday immediately before the event and must ONLY be obtained by the specific event participant. It does not matter if you have a copy of another’s ID or a letter or anything else.
I understand the security of this.
However, if a participant is coming in from out of the area or out of town and can’t come to the pickup, then same day pickup is offered at 5-6:30am for A $30 PENALTY!!!

A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!
The race management claims that this is a USAT REQUIREMENT!
