Simple & sweet Richmond race! No expo - packet pick up is at a local running store. Moisture wicking shirt comes with registration. The design doesn’t change year after year but the color scheme does. Course is flat and uneventful for the most part, some of the road isn’t completely closed which is somewhat stressful but fast course none the less. Finish line is right in the heart of Carytown so it’s easy to transition to your favorite brunch spot to celebrate after! No finish line “party” or extra race perks but there’s a super low registration fee that makes this acceptable. Fun race and will repeat in the future

Disney races are my favorite, although expansive. The expo is a party in itself with plenty of swag and various vendors. The race is seriously so magical it almost “ruined” other races for me. All the backstage staff is out, happy and cheering you along the way, the ride lights are going and of course music is playing. Getting in an early corral has its perks as there were little to no lines at the character stops which was exciting in itself. The medals and race swag are top notch and worth every penny. It was definitely a trip I won’t forget and I would love to be able to run the series again!
