The best way to celebrate Halloween is to dress up in costume and run 10k! There were some of the most creative costumes I've ever seen that must've been a real challenge for the run (including a Barrel of Monkeys). Our crew dressed up as a cop, 2 robbers, and a donut. We saw some of VA Beach's finest who were nice enough to get a photo with us. This is a fast course with a great after party!

This race has such a great following! It may be hilly, but you get to see so many beautiful spots in downtown Raleigh. People living in the historic neighborhoods are out cheering you on with their coffee and bathrobes. I love this race so much that I've run it multiple times and like going back to cheer others on!
