This race occurs the weekend before my birthday each year and 2017 was my first year to run it. The medals and finish line management in 2017 left a lot to be desired and the after party was not very exciting. However, in 2018 they made up for it! I highly recommend this beautiful but challenging course simply for the scenery. And you can never go wrong with a race that ends with 4 free beers and lunch. ;)
