Ive done 3 of The Destination Races Oregon, Woodinville and Kelowna) and this is the best, in fact kelowna is one of my favorite races I've done. The course is spectacular and the whole area is amazing. It starts at the Vibrant Vine in it's orchard and rolls through vineyards and pastures atop the plateau before dropping 3K to the lake level, staying very flat and taking you along the river and finishing by running the last 1+ km along the lake and finishing in the gorgeous waterfront park. The expo is a good one and DR is very professional in its races.
Went up with a friend, the drive there is a long one, and we had a fantastic time. The surrounding area is amazing orchards and actual vineyards, not just wineries. We drove north and back down along the river stopping frequently to get out and view the river.
