This was one of my first 5K's. I enjoyed the run itself because downtown Lexington is beautiful. I also enjoyed that it finished with the farmer's market in full swing. It was a very basic race. I recommend this as a good starting point for families who are looking for an activity together. There is no lack of crowd support and plenty of sights to see whether you intend to run it or walk it.
