The only thing I didn't like was the very small expo and post race events. Didn't feel like a celebration of any sort afterwards! Since Omaha is a large city I expected a lot more. I live in rural Kansas so I do a lot of small races, so I am used to small expos; just didn't expect it at this race. As far as swag bag, I didn't find any of the virtual items we got as useful. The shirt was nice though!

Hutch Rec puts on fabulous events! Salt City Splash is a great, clean facility for the swim and the bike and run around gorgeous Carey Park are awesome! The volunteers are so encouraging and nice! The post race treats are awesome too! Another race I try to do every year! I would recommend this race to anyone. It was my first tri, and there are people of all different skill levels that participate. They usually sell out spots so register soon!

This race is awesome!! Manhattan running company does a fantastic job of running it. I love the booths and food at the finish line. They even have jumpy houses for kids! Big bonus: Bill Snyder himself is there for pics! I'll be doing this race as long as they put it on! This was my second year and it keeps getting better.

Overall not a bad race. It is a BQ, so there are a lot of people that come to run it. It is a loop course, so for the full marathon you run it twice. Some people may not like that. There are some good hills on the course, but overall scenery isn't bad. There is no expo, and you just get a shirt in your bag. If you're running the race for that part, you'll be disappointed. After the race there is a nice pancake feed put on in a local church right by the finish line. I wouldn't say race management was bad, but they could definitely amp up the expo pre/post.
