This was my first half marathon and I had a lot of fun.
Pros: lots of aid stations, good energy, awesome medals and t-shirts
Cons: hot (95 ish degrees at the start), small rolling hills that added up for me (I'm used to flat)
Overall it was good but don't underestimate the heat and the little bike hills.

This was my first race ever (I ran the 5k) and I loved it. You run through some downtown housing areas and it's actually really pretty. The weather was perfect. The medal was cute. I loved how bright the shirts were. There was great energy, lots of cheering. This race is what got me hooked to be honest. Next year I'll be running the full marathon!
