As the title of this review suggests, if you are running the marathon in this event make sure to watch out for mile 23, you run on the 163 which goes from Sea Level and progressively climbs up. You may want to pace yourself until you get to this point as you will watch several people slow down at this point. The course is a good course and is very scenic, as you get to run past several historic landmarks in San Diego.

This was my first time ever in San Francisco and I must say it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend using public transportation as it is very difficult to get around with a vehicle. San Francisco is a half marathon, and is extremely difficult as there are hills through the city that you have to run through. I would suggest hill repeats before attempting this course due to extreme changes in elevation.

This was the first year that I had competed in this event. There was great scenery as it took place in downtown Tempe by the Arizona State University stadium. Was a great run, to benefit our military service personnel. The race is 4.2 miles long which was Pat Tillman's football jersey number. Great race, I would recommend to anyone especially any beginners.

This was marathon number 5 for me and my 3rd in Arizona so next year I will qualify for my 4th medal piece that creates a larger medal. I love the scenery around Phoenix and everyone is so nice warm and friendly. The hill at the end is fun and running over the Tempe town lake is a great experience as well. I would recommend this run to anyone and everyone that I meet.

The Rock N Roll Vegas Marathon is a great event, the atmosphere and course is amazing as you get to run through the strip and old Vegas. The expo is usually packed with all types of vendors giving out free samples and selling running essentials. This is one of the flattest events that the Rock N Roll series offers as many of the other sites offer different elevations. We were treated to a pre-race concert from Snoop Dogg that got the crowd hyped and was really fun. Great event overall and I would recommend to anyone.
