A very small out and back race that was a lot of fun! I did the 10K in 2017 and loved it. You could do a 5K, 10K or Half and did a certain number of loops depending on your distance. No aid stations that I can remember outside of the start/finish line, but any more were not needed.
Staff was very friendly and a great view of the ocean as you ran!

Ran the half in 2016. Hot day but plenty of water/aid stations available. Unfortunately, my bib was given out to the wrong runner, and I got someone else's bib so I was running under a different name for the race. That never happened to me before.
It's an out and back course, so be ready for 2 larger hills. Other than that, the course is mostly flat.
Only half marathon that I have run where my GPS said I ran much less than a half (over a half mile). Other runners were having the same problem.
Not the best half I have seen but it is improving and Wausau is a beautiful city,

Ran the half in 2016. Course was a fun trek through Milwaukee. Good cheering turnout. Huge issue with parking and toilets before the race. Huge traffic getting into the park which caused the race to be delayed by about 15 minutes. Not nearly enough Porta's that saw massive lines.
T-shirt was nice and it's one of my favorite medals. The next year this race re-branded and I have been told things have gotten quite a bit better.

Ran in 2015 which was the first year. Since then, this race continues to grow and is becoming one of the best 10K's in the Fox Valley. Lots of cheering and community involvement.
Nice course with a few challenging hills but nothing too bad.

This was my first ever half marathon in 2014 and ran it again in 2016. Very large community turn out and lots of cheering along the way. Plenty of aid/water stations and an overall easy course.
Medals are nice and T-shirts have been OK.
If you want fast, fun half marathon in Wisconsin with plenty of turnout, this is a great option!
