I thought everything about this race for the most part went great. Packet pick up occurred over two days at a running store which was nice. The website for the race had a lot of great information on it including maps of where to park. They also had a video that drove the route of the course which I thought was awesome to be able to preview. They even held a Facebook live event to answer questions which was a great idea. The t-shirt was cool. No sponsors on the shirt at all, so it's different but I like it.

Parking was easy but I did arrive an hour and a half early like they asked. They had volunteers directing you to the appropriate parking lots to use. They had different lots for people running the 10 miler or 5k. They definitely had plenty of bathrooms to use too. I was able to get in and out as needed.

The race start wasn't as congested as I thought it would be considering there was a left turn and a few bends in the road in the beginning. The race spaced out pretty well in the first mile.

The website boasted this as a flat and fast course. I was thinking it was going to be flat as a pancake and it wasn't. It was more rolling hills with plenty of flat areas. No major hills or anything. It was a beautiful course in Somerset/Franklin though. I really enjoyed the course. I thought they had plenty of water stations throughout the course. I used it as practice for my upcoming half marathon to work on hydrating while running.

I thought the race organizers did a wonderful job, especially for this being a first time race. Oh and the finishers medal was OUTSTANDING. I love it. Good size. Love that it was an outline of the state of NJ with race name. Looking forward to running this again next year.

It was a cold race day at about 18 degrees but otherwise a beautiful day. Start and finish are in the same exact spot which is always convenient. Plenty of parking over at the community pool which is a few hundred yards away from the start. The course was a nice one. Very scenic. Mostly flat but had a nice steep long incline about 1.75 miles into the race. You get a pretty good stretch to the finish which is nice. Plenty of people cheering you on. Good spread after the race. Mostly all runners were in green. The only real issue was way too many walkers were upfront at the start of the race. They don't realize it's a little dangerous when you have runners who all of the sudden have to put on the brakes so no one gets hurt. That's the issue with a bunch of 5Ks, so not just on this one. Overall this is a fun one. You're right in Morristown too, so plenty to do after the race. I’ll definitely consider running this race again next year. The organizers did a really nice job with it and it was an enjoyable course.

I had a great time at the Pre-Game 4 Miler in Morristown. It was a nice turn out and I enjoyed the course. The race is held on Super Bowl Sunday which I think is really cool. Gives you something active to do prior to all of the good food. The race starts at 11:00 am which is also nice. No need to wake up earlier than normal. The race had 760 finishers.

The first mile of the race is a nice decline, so you can get ahead of your average pace right off the bat. ace. You then hit a nice long hill about 1 1/2 miles through followed by a short decline and then up another hill. Then it's another steep decline which is nice before a very steep hill around 2.67 miles. Once you get through that it's pretty flat along Rt. 202 until you get a small incline when you turn up to the finish. Couple of turns and you're done.

The course was really nice. You start off running near South Street in Morristown. You end up passing by parks, then up along some very beautiful homes, then onto a busy road, up back up a hill with about a half mile to go and then two turns to the finish.

At the finish there were bagels, water, granola bars, coffee, bananas, a DJ, and a nutritional company allowing you to spin for a chance to win something. It was quite nice, especially for it being Super Sunday. I'm looking forward to running this again.

It was cold morning but that is expected in February in NJ. There is a parking garage a block away from the start/finish areas, so it was very convenient. Packet pick up is in a running store in Morristown. The race tshirt was pretty cool. The logo is from the tshirt. It's a long sleeve. You also get race photos included as part of your registration fee. Pretty cool. Overall, this is a great race and one I would recommend.
