This race is a blast, flat fast course and she get to see the likes of Shalean Flanagan run it, which is beyond cool. But like the BAA 5k they do not control the corrals and people just line up wherever they want, it sucks for those of us trying to run faster as we spend most of the time trying to get around walkers

I mean, it's the Boston Marathon, it is just amazing. It is so well organized, plenty of water stations, which was nice since that day ended up being the warmest day I had run in that spring. The people along the course are just awesome, the Wellesley girls are the best and loudest. I wish I could do this race every year, it is really just that great.

So this takes place in a super tiny town, that is a big lake resort so in March, it is pretty quiet. The race is a decent size but not that big and just expect the running to be pretty quiet, though running around a wooded lake is not bad and is super peaceful. The hotel I stayed at was right at the start and finish line so that was awesome, they also had just opened a Dunkin Donuts right near by so that worked out super well. The first mile, all up hill, and there are rolling hills after that, so this is no cake walk. But I really enjoyed it, the scenery is just beautiful and it is a really inspiring race to do

I loved this marathon, fairly flat (basically one hill from miles 8-10) lots of people cheering you. Lots of Rocky music (I know shocking right). I just really enjoyed this race, the 5 hour pacers were AMAZING and very much helped me set a new PR. Aid stations perfectly placed and some random people even handing out beer, I mean why not right. Also, plenty of places to park if you drive there, and the hotels near the airport are well priced and will serve breakfast extra early for runners. I highly recommend this race

The race was ok, I mean it is super flat so if you want to run a PR, do this race. The expo was super small and didn't really have much. The race is nice, but goes through some "interesting" neighborhoods and really there is no one out there cheering you on. I had no issues with bathrooms or aid stations, they were fine and my pacers were excellent. Finishing the baseball stadium was also very cool. Overall not bad, just seemed quite small for a city race that had been going on for a while . Also, my medal was FREAKEN HUGE
