This was my very first marathon and I loved it. I have to say my favorite thing is the course and it's clover like looping. I got to see my boyfriend and parents 4 times, so that is really awesome especially for a first timer. The only major hill is at mile 15, so overall a pretty flat course, the small town really goes all out for this with neighborhoods, decorating and playing music for the runners. Burlington is just an awesome place to visit too, great restaurants and the views, yeah, they are pretty great

This race takes place in a really scenic park, beautiful to run in. It is on a small pathway so at first you are a tad bunched up, but you do soon split up and run fairly free after that. It is hilly, I was not expecting that, but yeah this course isn't easy. Got a sweet medal at the end, overall I really liked it

The year I ran this was the year of the never ending snow, in fact the Thursday before the race it has snowed, again, so they had to cut the race short, so it was actually only 12.65 miles. Whatever, the weather that winter was beyond crazy so I didn't fault them for it and was just happy to finally run a race again, as it had snowed so much in February I couldn't run a single race. The views on this course are awesome and it is in such a nice little town. I would have liked to get a medal instead of a beer glass, that was my only complaint

This is a very small race, I would say about 80 people max, nice course, fairly flat, running through a small town. The one thing I loved about this race was they gave us breakfast and not just the runners, the runners guests could have some too. It wasn't a mind blowing breakfast, but hey hot food after a very cold race is a big plus in my book
