Great race! A fast out and back course with plenty of room for all runners. Some courses have bottlenecks at the start but this course was wide enough for a good start. It goes through downtown Phoenix so the scenery isn't as scenic as the other Phoenix marathon, but it's interesting to see the sites along Central Ave. The start age finish were well organized and plenty of snacks at the end.

I love this race. I have completed this race every year and done each distance. My only complaint is the buses are way too early and parking is very limited at the finish. This race always has a great t shirt, arm warmers, and other swag. As a native Mesan, I love that the race goes through my hometown and highlights the variety that Mesa has to offer. If you're looking for a FAST, fun, well run race this is it.
