First things first- I love this race! Ran it for the second year in a row and had a blast. There is plenty of parking in Kirkland and it's even free or $5 in most places. It also starts later, around 8am. My teammates who ran with me were surprised that even though the course is hilly (the first half a mile is up hill) it is not super difficult. They even organized participants into waves this year to lessen the congestion at the beginning of the race. The first mile is a hard because of the hills but the last two are more downhill than up and offer great views of the water.

The finisher chute and post race party was organized and offered great swag! Each finisher received a medal and commemorative car magnet. Even the dogs that raced got finisher medals. Overall I highly recommend this race and with free parking why not run it!

This is the first year I've run this race. I actually worked the expo two days before so my legs were tired for race day. The expo is pretty small but getting my packet was super easy.

Race day was pretty wet and rainy but waiting for bag check and the start wasn't so bad. The corrals are clearly marked and organized which is awesome. I wish all races that started in Seattle Center were this organized. We didn't have to wait to long for the start which was really nice.

To be honest this course is hills hills and more hills and a few parts are not so glamours. I had a pretty good race all things considered and getting the chocolate at the end after a cold and wet race was awesome. Not sure I will run the race again but I am glad I did it as a tune up for a half marathon the later in the month.

*Disclosure- I have run and spectated many runDisney races*

This is by far my favorite runDisney race. It is a very flat and enjoyable course, you even run more miles in the parks than other races.

Expo- I did the rebel challenge this year and it was a breeze. The only line I waited in was to take my picture with my bib to weed out the cheaters. (Yes, that was an actual thing Disney tried to prevent and it was great!) Getting my shirts was quick an easy too.

Race day- We stayed pretty close to the start line so we did not have to rush to our corral. I was in a front starting corral and it was not super crowded for the first few miles. I believe we ran 5ish miles in the park due to the construction of the new Star Wars land. It's a bit less than last year but it's still just as fun! The course support in Anaheim is awesome and adding the extra cosplay spectators. There is a long straightway you run twice but it's not that bad since there are plenty of people watching as you finish.

The finish line is well managed and getting my extra rebel challenge medal was a breeze. Taking the extra photo at the expo make is so much easier.

Many people complain about the cost of the race but for me it is worth it! I highly recommend running this race if you love Disney and Star Wars!

If you've run this race before you know that the course has changed a few times. This year we ran down hill, then up a super steep hill to the Kirkland corridor and then finished uphill. I know Kirkland is hilly but man, this course is a snooze fest. Besides running through the new Google campus it was not a picturesque course like the other races in the Kirkland/Juanita area. My time wasn't so bad all things considered. Overall this race isn't half bad but I would not run it again.

I love this race series! (They do donate to prostate cancer charities which is important to me since it is a fundraiser.) Anyways, they are super organized. Picking up a bib early is a breeze and road runner always gives you and extra shopping discount.

Race day was a bit chaotic due to weathe so it wasn't the race director's fault. The course was the normal Magnuson 5k course but there was a hitch, a huge mud hole a half a mile in. Other than that hiccup the race was wonderful, flat and fast.

The post race bash was fun- food trucks and give always. This year's medal was super fun with a bottle opener. The race photos were free too! I highly recommend this race for groups of friends or someone who wants a PR!
