2015 was my first year running the Route 66 half marathon and I completely understand why some runnners attend this race every year. Organization and convenience can't be beat -- we were able to park directly in front of the Expo location and walk right in on Saturday morning. Great race jacket that I will definitely wear. Tons of vendors -- I probably spent more money at this Expo than at all of my other races this year combined. Access on race morning was just as easy -- drove downtown and quickly found a surface lot that cost only $5 for all day parking. The race had four start corrals, which is really needed for a race this size. Confetti for each corral start -- not just the first corral. So many enthusiastic spectators along the course offering shots, photo ops, and even hugs to sweaty runners. Other than perhaps having a few more port-a-potties in the first few miles, I honestly can't think of a way for this race to improve. HF#1364
