This is a standard NYRR race, with a twist -- at one point on the course, you go in the direction of whatever team you're rooting for in the Super Bowl. I've done this race two years in a row. It's a great thing to do in the morning before the Big Game, so you can feel all noble when you chow down on junk food while watching the Super Bowl. Last year, the weather was pretty mild, too!

I really enjoyed this race, and not just because I had a great time for me that day (this was probably my best-run race this year.) It was a challenging but doable course. My only issue was that you don't really see anything interesting during the race, but that's a minor thing. The race itself was fantastic. I have my medal on my desk right now to remind me of it.
