Expo-
The expo was located at Fort Mason and parking was packed. Many cars going in and out, and many pedestrians walking and crossing the streets. Venue was big, but filled with lots of people and vendors. I went early afternoon on Saturday and it didn't take too long to get my bib and t-shirt.

Race Day -
Thanks to a friend, I was able to relax for maybe an hour at Lululemon's special vip lounge before taking off to join the start line. Corrals were packed, but easy to get into the waves. It was a hilly course, but pretty scenery. It was foggy at first, but it started to clear up as it got later in the day. My main purpose of picking the first half was to run across the Golden Gate Bridge and it was amazing, but definitely tough. It was across and back, packed with runners making it hard to pass, and you could definitely feel the elevation. Overall, tough half marathon. Lots of up and down hills, near the start and near the end. I'd be willing to try the second half next year to compare the two.

The views though, and the bridge, that's why I picked the first half marathon.
