I would highly recommend the Hot Chocolate Race Series. The expo was so organized and had some really interesting vendors. The process for picking up my bib and swag was super easy, and the swag is amazing! The year I did the race, it was a long-sleeved technical hoodie/jacket.

The course itself was pretty flat and through downtown Denver. Nothing spectacular, but could for sure be a PR course. I easily found (free!) parking along a street a couple blocks away. The location of the race made it really easy to get in and out, too.

After the race, I didn't think I would want chocolate, but when they handed me a cup with chocolate fondue, marshmallows, a banana, pretzels, and graham crackers, I was convinced otherwise.

The weather was great - it's a great time of year for a race in Colorado, and I would have definitely done it again if I hadn't planned to be out of town the weekend they held the race in 2015!
