This is one of the fastest courses I have done- out and back on West River Drive. It is such a moving race and supports such a great foundation. There are both 10k/5k run/walk which are on the same course (just cut in half) They honor the survivors of ovarian cancer and encourage superhero attire and to bring your dog! This non-profit manages this race so well and has awesome food afterwards and lots of activities and sponsors!

I've done this race since about 2007 and Ambler Area Running Club does an awesome job of running it. This year it was in about 30 degree weather but it was quick and fun course that is easy to PR on. The expo is pretty small, not much free swag but it is proportioned to the race size. It has some steep hills, but it is pretty much flat. The food after the run is awesome and donated by Fireside Grill! If you win your age division, you get an awesome pint glass!

This was my first marathon and I had the awesome opportunity through my work, City Sports to lead training runs with GoreTex and the Philadelphia Marathon. The course is pretty much flat with some gradual hills going to Manayunk and throughout Manayunk, (there were not killer hills). It gets a little bit boring on the way back to the finish on Kelly Drive but it is very flat. This marathon was ran very well and I enjoyed it as my first marathon!

I remember my mom texting me and saying her and my dad were going to run a half marathon in Boston. I had been running consistently over the past couple of years between high school and college cross country , track and field. I was nervous because I didn't know what to except. I had never been to Boston and used it was a running tour of Boston. It wasn't hilly at all and it was a beautiful way to tour the city!
