After the 2013 debacle, HITS had some learning to do, some changes to make; they promised all issues had been addressed, everything would be ironed out.
However, that simply wasn't the case; aid stations were abandoned AND the course was closed early.
Full marathoners, finishing over 4 hours were directly affected.
I will never run a HITS event again.
They bought the Omaha Marathon, and, unfortunately, they are able to capitalize on the name recognition; hopefully, leaving reviews will help people steer clear of this mess.

This was the first year of the Omaha Marathon being put on by HITS (based in NY); and it was very unorganized, nearly awful. There were NO portapotties available in the "full only" section of the course.
There were a litany of other complaints, but I'm sticking to the ones I experienced directly.
However, it being the first year, I didn't rule out running the 2014 Omaha Marathon.
