I love the wine country. I wanted to do this race based on the area.
The expo was a little small, but I was able to get my race jacket that I always buy at each race. We participated in a make your own wineglass at the Corning Museum of Glass. We also went to dinnerand listened to an inspirational speaker regarding overcoming her obstacles as a runner that is also running on artificial legs. She was amazing.

The race shirts, swag bag, chamapgne bottle and the signature wine glass were awesome. Everyone gets one.

The race is beautiful. I felt like it was a course that I had ran before. The cheering and crowd support was all along the route. It is probably my favorite race and I have signed up for the 2015 race.

After the race, there are many restaurants and festivities going on around the race. Highly recommend

I decided to do this race based on reviews from friends from the past that have done it. After I signed up, I contacted the race organizer because I was hoping to get an extra medal for the child I Run 4 through the I Run 4 organization. They were so accomodating. Told me to find them at the end of the race.
When I got to the expo I was pleased with the swag you could buy. It was huge. They had plenty of sizes. I like to collect race jackets from each race that I do. I was pleased with the one I got at this race. It is by far my most favorite.

Getting to the race and navigating traffic was difficult as I stayed at my cousins house. If I had planned better I would have stayed closer to the race.

The course was great. The day was hot and thankfully at the expo I got extra gels and hydrated. I loved the race. Running along the area where all of the canoes are was just beautiful. After the race I was able to enjoy a cold one while watching a concert. The headliner was awesome!!! I would recommend this race to anyone

This race was overall one of the best experiences from the moment of the expo to the after race activities. The expo was amazing. As you walked into the expo there was a device that recognized your timing chip and your name would be on a screen welcoming you as you walked through. There was great energy. The race course was amazing. Along the route the bands, drum . circles and crowds motivated you to keep going. Of course, the men in tuxedos at the end were also a bonus. The after activities where you could get massages, charge phones, get pictures and pampered was no doubt worth it. Would recommend any of the Nike Women's series races
