It begins at 4675 feet and ends at 1500 feet elevation. It does not have parking at the beginning or end but they have a shuttle that transports from a local high school to the beginning and from the end back to the high school. The hardest part of this race is the steep tilted road on a few of the curves. The views are amazing though and make this the most scenic race ever.

first race and it was mostly downhill - the toughest part is the bottom miles which are angled - the top six miles I train on most of my daily runs - that made it a ton more fun
