This is a local race produced by a running store and race management company in the same town. You can tell from start to finish that their heart is in this race. The race is well done. There is good crowd support. There are families who run together and there is a kids race after. And the post race expo is a lot of fun - tons of local restaurants give out food samples. A great evening with family and friends.

I had heard about this race from a friend who ran it with his son's last year. It is very close to our house. My son and I ran it together with his friends. We had a wonderful time and saw many people we knew out there on the course. The neighborhood really comes out to cheer. At the end there is a wonderful area for kids to play while you relax before heading home. It was a great evening.

This is an early season race. And the weather doesn't work in it's favor. However, it's well run and if you're ready for the tropical heat it's a good race. The swim is crowded and high-contact with a lot of turns. The bike route is fantastic. The run is 3-loops of heat, sun and hills. I wasn't prepared for the run as I should have been which prevented a better performance. But it was a fun weekend.

This is a big fun race. This year unlike most years it was cool all day long. Beautiful sunrise, cool temps, the Goodyear Blimp and a beautiful medal.
The course is very crowded - it's a big race.
It's Miami - we're famous for being late for everything and true to form the race started about 10 minutes late.
There were lots of bands and djs along the course. Plus plenty of cheering crowds as you get to the finish line. All in all a good time.
