Overall a great race. Around 1400 people were in the race and the weather was perfect 40 degrees with a little wind. The race starts out fast as most of the first half of the race 6.5 miles is downhill. Do not be fooled though the last half of the race almost the entire 6.5 miles is up hill. The scenery is okay as you do run through campus around mile 10 and it flattens out during that time. However the last 3 miles are almost straight up hill. I did PR the course but that is only because this was only my third half marathon. Everyone that I knew enjoyed the race but agreed that it was difficult and not a race you should sign up for if looking for a PR. Overall the half was fun and the race management was top notch.
