The Williams Route 66 Marathon knows how to cater to the crazy in all of us. This race has perks for Marathon Maniacs/Half Fanatics, a special medal for 1st-timers (converting more crazies), and a collector’s coin for those that go the extra distance and make their Marathon an Ultra! Yes, in the final stretch there is a separate chute for those that want to go the extra mile and run 27 miles! Any race that gives someone the option to run additional miles at the END of a Marathon clearly gets us runners with screws loose!
