I was chosen to pace the Half Marathon for the 10:30 pace group. I was glad i did not pay to enter this race. The race management that morning didn't know their butts from their heads, didnt have proper signs ready, didnt have any water at the starting line, not enough portapotties, just a bad way to start the morning. I did like that they had shuttle buses to and from the race sight that departed from downtown, as they told us there wouldn't be parking (and there was plenty of parking!). The race itself was in and out and then in and out again, i enjoyed the wine at the end (don't judge I had plenty as there was NO water at the end either!) and did i mention, I am glad i didnt pay for the entry to this?
