I ran the 5k the Friday prior to the marathon with some friends, and nearly froze! After the race I shopped around looking for throw away gloves - I had a sweater but wanted something for my hands - of course could not find any - so bought long socks! Woke up the morning of the race and it was so muggy already!! Didn't need the socks for my hands! The race was great, the temps were warm! The crowds fantastic! I hit the wall between the heat and gravel/sidewalks of ESPN at about mile 18 - earlier than usual. I struggled from there to the finish - but I finished and was proud! Not a PR but best I could do for that race. I left it all out there! I will be back to do this race!! I love Disney!!
