This race is a great way to get ready to run in the dark as the winter approaches.
SWAG: For just $25, you get a race package with a bright headlamps, batteries, a blinking arm band, an LED light spur, and glow sticks. The only thing that could have made this better is if the t-shirt had reflective or glow-in-the-dark lines on it.
Package pickup: they gave the option of various local in-person package pickups to save on mailing fees. There was no lineup and I also got to purchase a new running cap and socks using the special in-store discount.
Virtual Support: the race was supposed to be recorded via Strava, but there were some technical issues with that. I ended up never finding out where I ranked among all the participants, but it was fine with me since I considered this just a fun run with some cool new gear.
