Training went well leading up to the race. I’ve dropped over 30 pounds, so that definitely added to my performance and feel overall. The weather was nice on race day. Cloudy and the sunny and hot, leading to muggy and raining off and on.
My legs are KILLING me! I felt solid leading into mile 20, but afterwards I started to fall in pace. I kept hydrated which tea help prevent a ton of cramping like in the NY marathon last fall.
Really excited to receive my race swag in the mail!
