Bradford Zinnecker's thoughts:

The Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon is a great course. Not too much elevation and lots of great views of the surrounding waters. Packet Pick-up and parking were fairly easy and convenient if you were patient with the parking part. Day of parking was easy as a VIP. Swag was super great, extra cost if not a VIP, but some nice stuff including a bag, beer glass, tech tee with skyline at night and pier view at daytime. If you forgot anything and needed it, the expo, while small, had everything you might need.

On course, plenty of hydration stations, places to get wet towels, and medical personal if needed. The course itself was sort of like a figure 8, with both loops having their own special views and personalities including the Old Port/Western Promenade and then the Back Bay areas.

Finish line results were quick with the Race Joy app and it was easy to get around to the food tents even with up to 4000 finishers in the two events. The beer was good, 2 cans to each adult finisher. The food, while good, was limited and not as much I would have expected. The only downer in the whole day.

Overall, a very beautiful course, well run event, and ease of venue.
