My first time running this race, and I had a great time! I would highly recommend the 12K instead of the 5K because the course on the 12K actually takes you up the road and around the Seahawks practice facility. The 5K seems to just stay around the shopping mall area. This is a very spirited race, due partially to the success of the Seahawks, I'm sure! Lots of walkers taking part in the race, so it's good for everyone!

I heard parking was a bear, so I arrived really early, parked at the back of the Target lot and made my way towards the expo and starting line. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the expo, and that really helped kill the time before the race started. I took a little too long getting to the corrals, and had a really tough time getting into a pace corral I was happy with. They were really packed (lots of walkers moving ahead I think), and people were not too friendly about letting you through.

The race is a nice out and back, with a decent amount of crowd support and water stations along the route. Nice finishers medal - it's the same for the 5K and 12K race.
