Thankfully the race organizers pushed the start back for this race since an accident on the side of the road made it take forever to get into the parking lot.
I liked that the shirt was a light hoodie instead of the same old boring t-shirt, but it was way bigger than I expected and it stretched out a lot. It was just ok quality.
The expo was in a cool location and they really promote the bourbon out there which was a nice little bonus. Nothing too big or too small.
The course is a beast of hills, and mile 9 could have been the death of me with it seeming to never end, but the horses and rolling fields were absolutely georgeous.
The medal was ENORMOUS and weighed a ton.
We also found the most delicious restaurant for dinner called Bella Luna.
