I've been running and racing for over 30 years. The Alamo 13.1 ranks as one of my top ten races ever. The course was fun. The scenery is so good that the miles just kind of blur together. The event and after party are the best. It is a big race but not too big. Finishing in front of the Alamo is a highlight. I am so glad that the professional photographers got so many keepsake photos and I get to keep them for free. We will run this one every year.
