You can read my blog post for more information about what to do and where to stay in Litchfield but a quick summary of the race:

Swag:
Long-sleeved half-zip sweatshirt/fleece
Plastic cup with race logo
Compression socks if you signed up early

Medal:
Route 66 road sign, very unique!

Course:
An out and back to the start, through the start to a turnaround, and repeat once more. Primarily on Route 66. This was my flattest half and this was my 38th half marathon if that says anything.

Volunteers/Spectators/Water Stops:
Because you complete two loops of the course, there were always plenty of spectators and course support. The spectators were also very encouraging.

Parking:
If you park at the start/finish line which is at the drive-in theater, you have to stay until the very end but this was communicated to runners well in advance. We stayed at the Quality Inn which was .25 miles from the start/finish so we walked!
