I enjoyed this race a lot! The Virginia Beach boardwalk area made for a really fun race weekend. We stayed right on the boardwalk and were able to walk to meals and activities at night like mini golf and surrey riding. The night after the race, there was a concert on the beach which was a blast! The race itself was super scenic, other than a long stretch toward the end on one of the back roads. I loved running on the boardwalk and along the ocean, despite the pounding sun. Course support was excellent and lots of spectators made for a really fun race.
