Jordan 's thoughts:

I don't know where to start. Best marathon experience to date. Got into a car accident the night before and woke up 6 hours later and went on to PR the race. Scenery was amazing. Mt. Rainier was off in the distance at every turn. Going around Seward Park was very peaceful. Heading out and back on the floating bridge was cool too. Going back into downtown and seeing the stadiums where the Seahawks and Mariners play was nice. Last bit of running was done on highway 99 right on the sound was trippy cause as we headed down the tunnel, that is where I was the passenger in a totaled car accident the night before. Seeing the skid marks and the black paint on the wall where we hit was giving me flashbacks. Running past the crash site just fueled me more. Finishing that last bit running up Mercer on that incline makes the Roosevelt hill in the Chicago marathon seem like a decline. Yes, the course had some hills, but I love hills. It was so beautiful and first marathon where I am pretty sure I was smiling the entire time. Post-race celebration at the Seattle Center was kick ass and the music from The Presidents of the United States and Sir-Mix-A-Lot was off the hook! I would do this race again and suggest it to anyone to experience what Seattle has to offer.
