I've been running the Race Street Run 15K for years, in 2009 I placed in my age group for the 4 miler.

The race takes place in the Pennsylvania Poconos in the town of Jim Thorpe, PA. The race offers both a 15K and 4 mile option. There are staggered starting times, 8:30am for 15K and 8:45am for 4 miler. Both courses are an out and back and include different surfaces of road, gravel trail and soft crushed trail. The first 4.65 miles are uphill.

This is a small town race and does NOT offer chip timing. The starting line is a gathering on Broadway, however, there is an official finish line. There is ample race support with 4 water stations and a run through sprinkler along the 15K course. This is the first year this race has offered online registration
