I was provided an entry into this event from BibRave. I promoted the race and the cause through social media (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook). The organizer of group (and event) followed me. (Other events do not do this).
On Wednesday May 5 I ran my 5 miles. It was not good weather, my medical conditions were limiting me all day and I was not feeling that great. I went out for a nice cold, wet, windy and hilly run. I was able to maintain a good pace, enjoyed the scenery, and surprised myself with my time.
