This race is part of the Run Project series of races in the DFW area. I did not have to get there too early since parking is right next to the start line at the Bank of America Parking garage at no cost.

As usual it was a hot summer day in Dallas. The atmosphere was good and the race started on time. Since this was only a 5K race and there were no other races besides the fun run I encountered no issues.

The course was flat and part of it was through a wooded park, the Spring Creek Natural Area, so for about about 25 to 30 percent of the run there was nice scenery.

There were several booths after t he race for free drinks and food to re-energize. A beer "garden" was also available with free beer, but since I was with my 13 year old daughter I did not participate.

SWAG included a t-shirt, 2 stick on mustaches, and Run Project temporary tattoo's. When finishing the race you are awarded a small mustache medal.

Overall, for a nice, relaxing race, without too much overcrowding this is a good race event to participate in.
