This was my first half marathon ever! It's a great get-off-your-butt-and-run race, the course is great, very very minimal hills, no traffic, nice scenery, and good spectator points, and it's really all about the running, not the frills. You can't beat the $12 registration fee, which makes it a nice low-pressure atmosphere. The only thing is I wish I had gotten a medal for my first ever half!
