Due to COVID-19 effecting events and the cancellation of many races, I’ve decided to focus more on the 5K distance race. The Maple Mistress 5K was held on Saturday Oct 24, 2020 at Saucony Brewery. This was an actual in person race in 2020. All participants and staff wore masks and maintained a 6 ft social distance.

The out-and-back road course included a few hills and competitive field. There were no water stops along the course, I’m assuming due to COVID policies they are not allowed.

At the end of the 5K every participant received a free beer, I used mine to try a hard kombucha. There were food and wine trucks on location as well as food available at the brewery.
